This page lists the third-party service providers (“sub-processors”) that Paxizon Technologies Limited, the company behind Salary Index, engages to help operate the Service.
1. Overview
To run Salary Index we rely on third-party providers for hosting, our database, data processing and support. Each provider handles only the data it needs to perform its function, listed below. Because most of what we publish is anonymised and aggregated, the data shared with these providers is minimal.
2. Hosting & Infrastructure
Brimble
Purpose: DNS management, frontend hosting and deployment of the Salary Index website.
Data processed: Domain and DNS configuration, site assets, and request/traffic metadata.
3. Backend & Database
Convex
Purpose: Backend and database services.
Data processed: Application data and salary submissions.
4. Analytics
Google Analytics (Google)
Purpose: Measuring page views and how visitors navigate the site. Only loaded when you opt into analytics cookies.
Data processed: Anonymous usage data: pages viewed, approximate region, browser and device type. No salary submissions or personal details.
Brimble Analytics
Purpose: Page-view analytics. Only loaded when you opt into analytics cookies.
Data processed: Anonymous usage data: pages viewed and basic traffic metadata.
PostHog
Purpose: Product analytics to understand how visitors use Salary Index. Only loaded when you opt into analytics cookies.
Data processed: Anonymous usage data: pages viewed, interactions, approximate region, browser and device type. No salary submissions or personal details.
DataFast
Purpose: Website analytics to compare traffic and visitor behaviour across analytics providers. The in-page analytics script is only loaded when you opt into analytics cookies. We also use DataFast to record visits from AI crawlers and bots; that check happens on our server rather than in your browser, so it is not governed by your cookie choice.
Data processed: Anonymous usage data: pages viewed, referrers, approximate region, browser and device type. For crawler visits, the page requested and the identifying details the crawler itself sends. No salary submissions or personal details.
5. Data Processing
Notion
Purpose: Collecting salary submissions through forms and analysing the data.
Data processed: Salary submissions captured via our submission form, used for review and analysis before publishing.
OpenAI
Purpose: Processing salary submissions to help anonymise and aggregate them into market benchmarks.
Data processed: Raw salary submissions (role, company and pay), processed to strip identifiers and combine into anonymised, aggregate data.
Anthropic
Purpose: Processing salary submissions to help anonymise and aggregate them into market benchmarks.
Data processed: Raw salary submissions (role, company and pay), processed to strip identifiers and combine into anonymised, aggregate data.
6. Customer Support
Gmail (Google)
Purpose: Receiving and responding to support and contact emails.
Data processed: The email address and contents of any message you send us.
7. Changes to This List
We may add, remove or replace sub-processors as the Service evolves. When we do, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
