This is actually useful when you’re preparing for a salary negotiation because you have a market reference instead of just picking a number.

Salary Index is building the Glassdoor for Nigeria. The platform is helping professionals access salary data for different roles and companies, making it easier to benchmark offers and negotiate pay.

Enny

Salary Index helped. I’m abroad at the moment and was looking to get a sense of pay for specific roles, and your tool answered my questions. I had done some research before I found the tool, and it tracks.

Is there a world wherein Salary Index becomes a cooler version of Blind? The whole of Africa doesn’t have one. Might be sitting on a larger TAM.

Dear HR Consulting

@DearHRhq

Are you priced below, fairly or above your market? Salary Index built a tool for you to check this. Check where you are and maybe you may have to fight your HR—or buy them lunch. 😂

Peter Adigun

I’ve spoken a few times about knowing your worth and negotiating your salary accordingly. And just now, I discovered a tool that helps you understand where you stand in the market, whether you’re being underpaid or earning above the market rate.

This is quite smart. People might not want to offer their salary number when you ask them but this collects that data and still helps them figure out if they're being underpaid. Positioning is everything fr.

I checked my role and surprisingly I’m actually being paid my worth in the Nigerian market. Out of curiosity, I’d like to know what my worth would be in the global market.
